About the platform

Is this an official hotel or casino website?

No. Spark & Shine Agency sp. z o.o. is an entirely independent review platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any hotel brand, casino operator or booking engine. Every property name and trademark mentioned on this site belongs to its respective owner and is used for identification purposes only.

Are the casino hotels featured on this website real?

Yes. Every property, resort and destination we feature is a real, operating business. We do not invent properties, gaming zones, amenities or ratings. If a hotel is reviewed here, you can travel to it, stay in its rooms and visit its casino.

Who writes the reviews?

Our reviews are compiled by our editorial team from official property specifications, verified guest experiences and independent travel research. Every review is checked against the same set of criteria before publication — see How We Review for the full methodology.

How do you make money if you take no payment from casinos?

We accept no payment for favourable coverage, no sponsored reviews and no paid placements in our rankings. That policy is what makes the ratings worth reading. Outbound links point to official resort websites or trusted third-party platforms, and the position of a property in our listings is never influenced by any commercial relationship.

Where is the company based?

Spark & Shine Agency sp. z o.o. is registered in Poland, at Strzelecka 49, 61-846 Poznań. You can reach the editorial team through our contact page.

Bookings and payments

Can I book a room directly through your website?

No. We are strictly an independent review and informational portal. We do not operate booking engines, we do not process reservations and we never handle payments. Buttons such as “Book Now” or “Check Availability” redirect you to the official hotel website or to a certified third-party booking platform, where you complete the reservation directly with them.

Do you take payment details or deposits?

Never. No page on this website asks for card numbers, bank details or any payment information. If a page claiming to be Spark & Shine ever asks you for payment, it is not us — please close it and report it to us.

Who do I contact about a cancellation or refund?

The property or the booking platform that took your payment. Once you leave our site, our Terms & Conditions no longer apply and we have no visibility of, or influence over, your reservation. We cannot amend, cancel or refund a booking.

Are the prices on linked sites guaranteed?

No. Rates, availability and package inclusions are set by the properties and change constantly. We publish no prices of our own precisely because they would be out of date within days. Always confirm the final price on the official booking page before paying.

Do you offer discount codes or promotional bonuses?

No. We publish no discount codes, no gambling bonuses and no promotional offers of any kind. Any site offering “Spark & Shine bonuses” is not connected with us.

Casinos and gaming

Do you offer online gambling or casino games on this site?

No. This website does not host, offer or facilitate any form of online gambling, sports betting or real-money gaming. We also do not offer free-to-play or social casino games. Our content is purely editorial: reviews, history and practical information about physical, land-based casino resorts.

What is the legal age to enter the casinos you review?

It depends on the jurisdiction. In most of the United States, Macau and Singapore the minimum age is 21; in Monaco, South Africa and much of Europe it is 18. Age limits are set locally and enforced at the door, so check the requirement for your destination before you travel. Our Casino Experience page lists the current thresholds by jurisdiction.

What should I wear to a luxury casino?

Dress codes are set per room and per time of day rather than per country. European rooms such as Monte-Carlo often enforce formal or semi-formal dress in the evening; Las Vegas and Macau resorts are generally smart casual. High-limit salons and fine-dining restaurants inside the same building are almost always stricter than the main floor.

Do you publish odds, payout percentages or strategy advice?

No. We describe which games a property offers and how its rooms are organised, but we do not publish odds, payout figures or systems, and nothing on this site should be read as strategy advice or as a guide to winning.

Are these hotels suitable for non-gamblers?

Absolutely. Modern casino resorts are integrated entertainment destinations. Even if you never set foot on the gaming floor, properties such as Marina Bay Sands or The Venetian offer shopping, theatre, pool complexes, spas and restaurants from well-known chefs. The casino is one component of a much larger resort.

Are the resorts family-friendly?

Many are, outside the gaming floor itself. Minors are not permitted to gamble anywhere and in some jurisdictions may not linger on the casino floor at all, but pools, water parks, theatres and restaurants are usually open to all guests. Check the specific property’s policy before booking a family trip.

Our reviews and ratings

How do you determine the ratings for these properties?

Every property is assessed against the same seven criteria: location, accommodation, amenities, casino information, dining, entertainment and accessibility. Scores reflect our own editorial judgement against those criteria, applied consistently across properties. The full method is documented on How We Review.

Can a hotel pay to improve its score?

No. Scores cannot be bought, and no property sees its review before publication. We do not offer sponsored reviews, paid rankings or “featured” placements.

Do you update your reviews regularly?

Yes. Restaurants close, rooms are renovated and gaming floors are reconfigured, so we review our published content periodically and monitor official announcements from the properties. We still advise verifying critical details directly with the hotel before booking.

I found an error in a review. What should I do?

Tell us. Send the page, the specific statement and, where possible, an official source through our contact page. Verified corrections are applied to the live page.

Why is a well-known resort missing from your list?

Because we have not completed a full review of it yet. We would rather publish a small number of properties assessed properly than a long list assembled from marketing copy. Destinations we are watching are listed on the Destinations page.
